BCYSA COVID-19 Guidelines for Fall 2020
- No team snacks or drinks.Each player is responsible for bringing their own beverage and, if desired, snack for after the game.
- All players and volunteers should wear masks while on the sidelines and not in play
- Parents are allowed to sit on the goal lines to allow for greater distancing.
- No handshakes, no huddles, no post-game meetings.There will be no handshake line after the game.Instead, players are encouraged to clap for the other team from their own sideline.
- We ask families to minimize their time at the park – don’t stick around to watch other games, stay in your car until 5 minutes prior to the game, and leave immediately afterwards.
- 2 adult spectators per player.There are marks on the sidelines every six feet, please use these to inform your camp chair placement
- Soccer balls should be sanitized each half or quarter, whichever is applicable.
- Players should sanitize their hands after coming off the field
- At practice, players should use their own equipment.Practice drills should be distanced whenever possible, and close-contact play should be reserved for competitive play only
- Any player who is experiencing symptoms OR who has a household member experiencing symptoms SHOULD STAY HOME
